Smooth freezing:
Place your cake in the center of the machine. Slide the vertical knife along the cake and rotate the disc manually. Ensure a consistent distance between the knife and the cake throughout. Adjust the position of the cake if necessary. Proceed by sliding the vertical knife over the cake and then the horizontal knife on top. Turn on the machine, set the desired speed (recommended speed: 75-85 rpm) and use a piping bag for cream (e.g. buttercream or ganache). Spread the cream starting from the top, working outwards. As the cake passes, remove the excess cream. Once the top is done, move it to the sides, working from the top down. Adjust the knives for tighter corners or a thinner layer of cream if desired.

Cleaning a cake decorating machine:
It is important to clean the cake decorating machine thoroughly after each use. Remove all loose parts from the machine. Wash these parts with warm water and a mild detergent. Do not use a sponge to avoid scratching. Then dry the parts thoroughly. Clean the outside of the machine with a cloth. Reinstall the parts in the machine and store the machine in a dust-free place.
